Old Carpet Not Looking New Anymore?

The Maids • Nov 26, 2013

Your house cleaning efforts are intended to make a room look clean and fresh. However, some things are no longer capable of looking that great. One such example is your carpet. You vacuum, scrub, spray, and even use a carpet cleaner to make it look fabulous, but tears, bare spots, and impossible stains just don’t leave. If this situation applies to you, it may be time to refresh the look of the room with new, colorful carpet.

Color is very important when it comes to carpet choices. The fixtures in the room set the tone and the furniture contributes to the color scheme. With this in mind, consider what colors would look best with what you have and go from there.

Some rooms may be based off of a two-color scheme. If that is the case, you will need to decide what color tone to pick and what color is needed the most. Black sofas may be in the room with green-toned walls. In that situation, a gray or lighter green carpet may work best. If the walls are yellow and you have dark blue furniture, you may want gray or light blue carpeting.

No matter what you decide, a new carpet will add to that cleanliness you strive to maintain and add some new excitement to the room too!
